Dr. Benedikt Zimmermann, a postdoctoral researcher at Columbia Plasma Physics, has been awarded the Ph.D. Research Award of the Plasma Physics Division of the European Physical Society (EPS) for his doctoral work performed at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics.
