Undergraduate Student
Thaddaeus is a sophomore at Columbia College studying astrophysics and mathematics. Since the fall 2024 semester, he has been working on magnet design, construction, and testing for the Columbia Stellarator experiment as part of the Columbia Plasma Physics Laboratory. Beyond fusion energy research, he is particularly interested in applications of plasma physics to alternative space propulsion technologies, including nuclear thermal propulsion (NTP) and direct fusion drives.
