Javier Chiriboga
Graduate Student
Javier joined the plasma lab in the fall of 2023 after completing his B.A. in physics from the University of William and Mary and is currently a graduate student working on HBT-EP. He enjoys outdoor activities such as swimming and playing tennis around campus.
Advisor: Michael Mauel
Research focus: Javier is studying high speed magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) control using machine learning algorithms with experimental and novel diagnostics for plasmas.
