Ian is a M.S. Student studying Mechanical Engineering with a focus on energy systems. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2025. His interests are centered around thermal fluids, control systems, and energy extraction. In his free time he plays in the back line of the CBS rugby team.
Research Focus: Ian is working on the computational heat transfer modeling of the Columbia Stellarator Experiment (CSX) coils, and the Columbia Tritium Experiment (CTX) prototype components.
