Undergraduate Student
Alex is an applied physics undergrad at Columbia Engineering. He plans to pursue a graduate degree in nuclear or plasma physics and is interested in leveraging his passions towards the sustainable energy industry. Outside the lab, he enjoys video editing, Muay Thai, and producing music.
Research focus: HTS technology implementation and the design of non-planar, superconducting coils for the Columbia Stellarator Experiment (CSX), with guidance from Professor Paz-Soldan and Professor Paul.
