Ashling Jia Walshe
Undergraduate Student
Ashling Walshe is a third-year undergraduate student at Columbia University studying Electrical Engineering. She is currently working on extreme environment sensors for plasma physics and nuclear fusion applications in collaboration with the Eisner Transformative Harsh-Environment Electronics Research Laboratory.
Her interests include sustainable energy, medical technology and space.
Outside the lab, she enjoys exploring New York’s fashion scene, restaurants, museums and concerts.
