Undergraduate Student
Alyssa is a third-year undergraduate student at Columbia studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering. She had a strong interest in clean energy and space technology. Alyssa is currently collaborating with fellow undergraduates on the Columbia University Tokamak for Education (CUTE) engineering team, under the guidance of Professor Paz-Soldan and Dr. Hansen, where she works on designing, testing, and manufacturing mechanical elements. Aside from fusion, Alyssa enjoys gardening, figure skating, and working on Columbia Space Initiative’s Rocket team.
