Luke Filor

Undergraduate Student

Luke is a fourth year undergraduate student at Columbia pursuing a degree in applied physics.  He plans to pursue a graduate degree in plasma physics.  Outside of the lab, Luke enjoys fishing, cycling, and sailing.

Research focus: Luke currently works on designing the non-planar, superconducting coils of the Columbia Stellarator Experiment (CSX) and the associated diagnostic systems, under graduate student Mel Russo, with guidance from Professor Paz-Soldan and Professor Paul.
